OFF TO KANSAS!

People have been asking and it's finally time for me to travel to my first visting

and I am proud to announce to my FIRST destination:

Kansas

For those of you that might have wondered where I have been staying while at training....

I have been spoiled these past few weeks Chillin' at the Holiday Inn aka the TLC mansion!

I will miss having my bed made for me everyday, having a complimentary breakfast served every morning, as well as having fresh towels and complimentary shampoo and conditioner to use upon my disposal. It's time for A Bax to learn how to survive life in the "real world", while living out of a suitcase.

I will miss these blue lights that light up our crib every night and all of the fun memories made "Club 308".

TOURIST ALERT

The finale of the trip in Indiana was a touristy night full of surprises.

The first surprise was that Hannah had some flight drama and ended up getting to come back and stay for one more night!!

The second surprise was that we chose to eat at local restaurant where we ended up going down into a basement type deal to eat... I wasn't really paying attention and finally realized we were in down in a dungeon-like atmosphere being served a tray of tacos. & I loved the cute little mason jars our drinks were served out of.

OH and we saw this dancin' light up girl thing....Pretend that play button isn't covering her up.

The third surprise was that one of the consultants who shall remain nameless discovered that she left her credit card at the restaurant that we ate at for lunch so we got to take a sweet tour around Indiana to retrieve it AND it started POURING.

The fourth surprise was that on our way to get out of the downtown area we found LUCAS OIL STADIUM!!!! I was seriously so excited that I literally hung out the window like a dog to snap some selfies (why does my computer not recognize the word selfie...its 2013 apple, get with it) myself in front of it.

And the fifth surprise was that we also ran into the capital!

WOOHOO!

Peace, Love & END-iana.

TORNADO !!

For those of you that know me you might know that living in a hotel or anywhere where I have to keep my clothes organized in some sort of luggage just doesn't work well, for those of you that didn't know that...welcome to my life on the road.

No matter how many times I try to get organized, my stuff ALWAYS tends to explode... Since I will be living out of a suitcase for the next ten months I thought I would attempt to pack in a way that I could stay organized. I bought space bags to use as makeshift "drawers" to sort my shirts from my dresses from my skirts from my pants, etc... Lets just say this lasted a whole 30 minutes once I got unpacked. Taking stuff in and out of bags was a pain, so today as I re-pack my belongings after being settled in Indiana for the past 2.5 weeks, I am back to my normal "roll-fold" method...

Day One

 End of Day One

^ mature.

I did get this little Grid-It though to organize my cords in my purse.

Meanwhile, (good transition word...shout out to my fifth grade teacher Mrs.Greco) A wave of TLCs left today to start their journey on the road. I have one more night here in Indiana and then I am off!!

I'll let ya know where I am headed ToMoRrOw. WOO!

a little bit of history...

So Zeta has a few symbols and I recently discovered that there is a physical "chain of chapters" that is a symbol of all of the ZTA chapters... all this time I thought it was a figurative chain, but apparently it's a real thing & I found my chapter's link!!

^^ that link was added in 1955!

Yay for Gamma Psi

Sunday Funday!

Today we had our first full day off and a few of us chose to spend our afternoon at the Indiana State Fair!! This was probably one-third of the size of the Texas State Fair, but I loved every second of it!

My 5 favorite things about the fair:

1. The weather was BEAUTIFUL!!

 2. We rode the Ferris Wheel

3. We ate FRIED GIRL SCOUT COOKES - skinny.

4. We saw the biggest tractor EVER.

5. I made a new friend, Bubba.

Crazy that we only have FOUR days left in Indiana!!

Peace, Love & RIP Big Tex !

A day in the life...

This morning we started our day with a little team builder called "Build It". We were split up into four groups and were given:

1. Two bags of balloons
2. A roll of masking tape
3. A bag of popsicle sticks

We did this activity twice: once with the goal of building the tallest free standing balloon tower, the second time with the goal of making the longest strand of balloons. We could use all of the materials however we wanted and this is what my group came up with!

Using the stairs to make room for the WiNNiNg balloon chain!

The team I was a part of came in second for the tallest, but here we are as the ChAmPiOnS of the longest!

Happy Thursday!!

Peace, Love & Light Headed!
